InterestsMy name is Michael Andrew Davis. I was born in Riverside, California on Septmber 29, 1968. I grew up in Grover City, California (now called Grover Beach) with my mom, Lydia; sister, Jennifer; and dad, Estill. I went to St. Patrick's School, Arroyo Grande, St. Joseph High School, Santa Maria and Allan Hancock College, Santa Maria.
I now live in Santa Maria, California and work for the City of Santa Maria as a Information Systems Programmer.
Interests
In the winter I like to go skiing. A few years ago, I was able to Ski at Sugerloaf, Maine. I also go to Sierra Summit when I get the chance. In the past, I enjoyed sailing in the summer months. I also like to go swimming when it's warm.

Family
My mom and dad live in Grover Beach, California.
My dad works for AT&T, and is currently the Business Manager for I.B.E.W. Local Union 1011 (O.R.T.T.).My sister, Jennifer, and brother-in-law, Craig, moved to Orono, Maine. Craig graduated from California State University, Nortridge and Jennifer graduated from Cal Lutheran University. Craig just graduated with his P.H.D. from the University of Maine and their moving to Providence, Rhode Island.
Friends
Joanne, Joe, Micaela (3 Years Old) & Mathew (born Christmas Day 1998). Joanne works as a Recreation Supervisor for the City of Lompoc. Joe graduated from University of California, Fresno and works at the Vocational Training Center.
Anna, Vincent & Richard are enjoying life in their new home (with a pool). Anna works at AAA and Richard works at the City of Santa Maria. Vincent is attending St. Louis de Montfort School.

Work
I work for the City of Santa Maria as a Information Systems Programmer. I started as a Computer Operator in September of 1989, promoted to Computer Technician in November 1989, promoted to Data Processing Programmer Trainee in February 1990 and again in 1991 to my current position.
In the past, I have worked for Gerrish & Company in Arroyo Grande, California as a Administrative Assistant. I also worked at Allan Hancock College as a Computer Lab Operator, LRC Media Center/Media Technician, Registration Terminal Operator, and LRC Media Center/Instructional Aide (I got around).
My Computer
I have a Pentium 166mhz Tower running Windows 95. I started building it in November of 1995 from parts purchased at the Computer Show & Sale and the Renaissance Computer Shows. In 1998, I upgraded the processor, memory, hard drive, CD, sound card & mouse.
